TOUR PLAN
If you going to travel to Cali, you have to take into the following points:
Accomodation:
- Hotels cost from COP 180.000 to COP 520.000 per night
- Hostal cost from COP 60.000 to COP 120.000 per night
Transportation:
You can transport in bike, the mass transport of the city MIO, in motorcycle or car. You can rent a car but I recommend that you transport with MIO; It is cheaper! or you can take a taxi.
* Rent a car cost COP 100.000 per day
*Ticket of MIO cost COP 2.500
You have to be careful with some places in the city. They are dangerous and some people can rob you!
You can do many activities!! you will not get bored!
Activities in a weekend:
1st day: You can go to the Cali zoo, you will find a wide variety of animals from the region and of Colombia.
Then you can go to see the streets of Cali, as San Antonio, you can eat the typical food, you can see the city. Then you can go to the boulevard del rio, also see the Ermita church.
At night you can go to the Pergola disco is very famous but expensive.
2nd day: You can go paragliding at the hacienda la maria- it is in Palmira- valle near to cali. It is a very cool activity! and then you can go to calima lake to do other activities.
3rd day: You can go to the yanaconas recreation center is near to cristo rey, it is a nice place to relax and eat. Or you can go to Pance river, it´s a natural place to relax and it is cheaper!
In the afternoon you can go to Cristo Rey and see the city from another view.
If you wanna go for a good coffee, you can go to caleñitas cafe, this place is in alameda. You can eat champus, empanadas, chontaduro and all typical food. And also you can buy some souvenirs and candies.
- Cost of tickets for zoo: COP 27.000 per person
- Cost of tickets to nightclubs is about COP 50.000 per person.
- Paragliding: COP 180.000.
- Navigation for Calima Lake with pick up at your accommodation (urban area), shared transportation, navigation, bilingual guide (Spanish and English), breakfast, lunch, entrance to the museum and drop off in the San Antonio neighborhood. Its cost is about COP 150.000 per person.
- Cost of tickets for yanaconas recreation center COP 25.000 per person.
- Cost of tickets for pance river : It is free!
- Cost for food COP 450.000 in a weekend. It depends on what you want to eat.
